Email from grandson of Alexina in March 2020: Alexina Ross Dickson, born 2/08/1897. My grandmother is the standing lady. The lady on the left can be seen on your large information board situated opposite the large mixing bowl and in the centre of your display so that confirms to me that my grandmother did work there during WW1. She was born and lived in Douglas Lanarkshire which isn’t too far away as the crow flies, which makes sense.
