Biography
‘Dennis Sullivan, The Huts, Gretna, who resembled the description of a man who had been continuously toasting the Kaiser in public houses, was fined 19/6d for Breach of the Peace and assaulting Seargeant Finney, outside Carlisle gaol. He had been singing an Irish song which had been “banned in the barracks at Aldershot”.
