Ellen Irving Clark 1897-1967
Ellen Irving Clark was born on 7th February, 1897 at Howgll , Annan to single domestic servant Janet Clark. She is described as illegitimate on her birth registration.
1901- at 10 Brewery Cottages, Annan Now a step father Thomas Clow who married her mother in June 1900 and a younger brother born.
7 children including twins on Thomas Clows Military record 1917 . Ellen is not included.
WW1 – photograph of Ellen in her munitionette uniform aged about 20 – source – public member tree, Ancestry.
27th February 1920 Annan, married Robert Craig Adams a plumber. Ellen a glove factory machinist.
10th May 1967 died at 214, Parliamentary Road,Glasgow of acute bronchitis, heart failure and left hemiplegia aged 70
