Travels: This family were well travelled. In 1915, Florence, Hazel and Myrtle sailed on the “Saxon” from Cape town to Plymouth, Henry was not with them. Their intent was to stay in England. (4)
On 20/08/1919, Henry sailed on the “Peleus” from Liverpool to Shanghai. He stated that he had previously been living in Scotland and intended to stay in China. (3)
On 26/03/1924 , Henry and Florence with their three daughters sailed on the “Morea” from Shanghai to Plymouth. Their intention was to stay in England and gave their address as 3, South Terrace, Penzance, Cornwall. (4)
On 06/11/1924 Henry travelled on his own from London to Capetown on board the “SS Baradine”, intending to stay in South Africa (3)

They are not in the 1939 register so maybe they continued their travelling. When Henry left Gretna he gave his forwarding address as “ V.F. & T.P. Co Ltd, 2 London Wall Buildings, London EC.” (6) This is now a Grade II listed building. There was a company called The Victoria Falls & Transvaal Power Co. , maybe this is his link to South Africa.
