Henry Shannon was born in 1879 in Carlisle to John and Mary, both Scottish.

1891- living at 34 Grasslot, Maryport, Cumberland. Father a police constable.

1901- 89 John Street, Netherhall, Maryport. Father a sergeant of police. Henry a commercial clerk.

Q2 1908 married Ann Marshall in Cockermouth Registration District ( includes Maryport)

1911- visitor at 25 Warwick Road, Newport, Monmouthshire. A mineral sampler metallurgical chemist

WW1 employed at Gretna

1921 – listed as an ex or retired Gretna worker . Henry, W, Fanny and 3 others are on the record at Netherhall, Maryport

23rd November 1934 buried at Maryport Cemetery, Cumberland , usual address Skiddaw Avenue, aged 55
