The Devil’s Porridge Museum Café

Our main menu is served 10.30 am-2.00 pm, and then our delicious homemade cakes and scones are served until 4 pm (3pm on Sundays).

The café has been tastefully re-furbished in Rennie Mackintosh style. We source products from our local butcher, and greengrocer. We supplement with seasonal veg from our Dig for Victory Garden. Our cakes and scones are homemade.

Gluten-free and Vegan options are available on request.

You don’t have to visit the museum to enjoy delicious food & drink at The Devil’s Porridge Museum’s café!

Only assistance and guide dogs are allowed inside our café. You are welcome to sit in the outside seating area outside our café with a dog.

Our café now has its own Facebook page. It’s the best place to keep up to date with all the tasty treats that are available! Find our café on Facebook here>

Group Visits

We would be happy to provide catering for your group visit, but this will need to be booked in advance. This helps us to serve you quickly and ensure adequate stock levels with all our food being freshly prepared on the day of arrival. As we only have a small café, which will remain open to the public during your visit, if you do not book in advance we may not be able to provide food or drinks for your group, particularly during high season.
