We are pleased to deliver assemblies and sessions in schools in Dumfries and Galloway and Cumbria. These sessions will be delivered by a knowledgeable member of the museum team using a PowerPoint presentation with sounds, images, video clips and some artefacts. Sessions can be tailored according to school needs. Please contact us to discuss further.
In addition to this, the museum also has a First World War artefact box which can be borrowed by schools to explore independently. Schools can borrow the box for up to two weeks and need to collect and return it to the Devil’s Porridge Museum. Please contact us if you would like to arranged to borrow this loans box.
