For group visits it is essential for you to book in advance by contacting The Devil’s Porridge Museum directly. This helps us make sure we have availability and everything ready for your visit. We ask that you please do not use our online booking system for groups, as this will cost you more.

If you would like catering for your group, it is essential for you to book this in advance by contacting The Devil’s Porridge Museum directly. Thank your assistance and helping make your visit run smoothly for everyone!

Catering

We would be happy to provide catering for your group visit, but this will need to be booked in advance. This helps us to serve you quickly and ensure adequate stock levels with all our food being freshly prepared on the day of arrival. "We really enjoyed our visit to the museum today. What made it all the more special was that we were a group and got VIP treatment! (Very nice lunch and talk)
Very much appreciated."

"Had a trip to The Devil's Porridge Museum this morning with the Carlisle United Veterans. Could have stayed longer. Very informative, thoroughly enjoyable, and well worth a visit."

"Thank you so much for organising this tour of your Museum - everyone was really glad they'd been.
It's a humbling experience to see how so many people, especially young girls, volunteered/worked/suffered and even died for the 'War Effort'.
We all know about the suffering on the front line, but this was something which none of us knew about. Good for you all.
Its somewhere everyone should go and experience."

"Excellent presentation and informative visit by a group of 50 on a lovely day in October.
A grand café and staff. Thank you."
