Trivia / Any Other Information:

After her time at the factory, Alice moved to London and got a job in service. She later married and had four children.

Disability: toxic jaundice. Just like the “Canary Girls” who worked with TNT, cordite is also reported to have caused toxic jaundice to workers at HM Factory Gretna. Alice Morton’s granddaughter recalls Alice having yellow skin throughout her life, which even affected the whites of her eyes.
