Annie is remembered on the Mossband Farewell as a member of the operating staff. Her forwarding address was “Ashcroft”, Dalton, Lockerbie. We don’t know what her role was, but she had gained a diploma from the West of Scotland Agricultural College in Glasgow. She received her national diploma in June 1915 (The Scotsman 14th June 1915). Another student receiving their diploma was a John Wilson, who may have been Annie’s future husband.
