Arthur Dunn Walker was born on 25th December 1898 to Tom and Sarah Jane nee Martin at Carlisle . the second of 7 children.
1901- 78 Richardson Street, Carlisle, Father a cashier to a woollen manufacturer
1911-78 Richardson Street, Carlisle. Father accountant in woollen manufacturer. 5 rooms Arthur is the eldest of 7
WW1 employed at H M Factory, Gretna as too young for military service.
1921- listed as an ex Gretna worker. Arthur Dunn, Tom, Sarah Jane and 5 others are on the record in Carlisle
3rd November 1926 married Cummersdale, Carlisle born Ellen Calvert Collins ( also in Data base) at Wandsworth. She a school mistress, he a textile manager of 42, Lyford Rooms, Wandsworth.
There is no 1939 register entry for Arthur , it is possible that he and Ellen were in Durban, S Africa.
2nd June 1976, died at Hampstead , London .
