Trivia / any other information:

In 1891, George is a Wine and Spirit Merchant boarding in Wolstanton, Staffs.

By 1901 he is working as a Hotel Waiter at the Manor House Hotel, Leamington Spa.

He meets and marries Margaret Snape in Worcester in 1904, and they have two children, Margaret and Winifred Mary.

By 1911 they are all boarding with family in Southport and George is still a Hotel Waiter.

The family arrive at HM Factory Gretna in late 1916, and Margaret and Winifred are registered at the school in Dornock from January 1917.

The family are living at C3 Eastriggs. We don’t know what George’s role was at Gretna, or how long the family stayed.

In 1921, George is a Public House Manager at the “Bedol Hotel” in Talycafn, Caernarvonshire, and he is working for the Aluminium Corporation Co. Dolgarrog, North Wales.
