Thomas Stewart from Eastriggs tried to bribe him and another constable James Clark when caught stealing 23 feet of boarding. He got fined £5.
A munitions worker, Michael Luby, from Eastriggs, Dornock, was charged for committing a breach of the peace and assaulting two police constables, James Clark and James Fairweather. Kicked each of them on the legs three or more times and pleaded guilty. A fine was imposed of £5, with an alternative of twenty-one days imprisonment.
