1891 – living at 13 High Street, Dumfries. A grocer. Father a coal merchant.  

 

1898 – Married Mary McLachlan.  

 

1901- 70 West Scotland Street, Glasgow. An engineman.  

 

WW1 employed as a motor driver at H M Factory Gretna, living at 8C East, Gretna. (Electoral Register)  

 

12th January 1938 – died at Batley, West Yorkshire and buried in Annan Cemetery.
