Trivia / any other information: Sherrif Campion at Dumfries arrested Jane for bigamy in 1918. Jane first married labourer William John Butler, who worked in a blind asylum in Belfast. Jane left William and her two children and went to Gretna, where she met Syndey Lewis Sharville, a constable in the Gretna police. In 1917, a year before being sent to prison for bigamy, Jane went to South Dubin workhouse. Before entering the workhouse, Jane was living in South Dublin. During 1965 in Kent, Jane and Syndey Sharville registered their marriage when she was 75.
