Millicent Frances Badcock was born on 15th September  1877 at Lydiard Millicent, Wiltshire to Joses and Sarah nee Plummer.

 

1881- living at Brook Farm, Lydiard Millicent. Mother the wife of a farmer of 137 acres employing 2 men and 5 boys. Father not present. Some offspring listed have family name of Tuckey – this is Sarah’s second marriage. (Tuckey is the maiden name of Margaret Mary Goff’s mother – also in database)

 

1891- Father a yeoman of The Brook farm, Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire

 

1901 – same address. Father a retired farmer.

 

1911- 10 Staverton Road, Oxford. 12 rooms. No Occupation aged 33. There are 3 children with the Badcock family name.

 

1917 /18 – employed at Gretna as a club worker living at U East 18 Township (source – electoral register and the death registration of niece Margaret Mary Goff )

 

5th December 1918 – registered the death from influenza at the factory hospital of her niece, police constable, Margaret Mary Goff aged 29.

 

17th December 1925 – left Buenos Aries fir Southampton, 1st class on board Royal Mal Steam Packet Companyaddress listed as 33, Portland Road, Oxford.

 

1921 – only Millicent on the record in Weymouth, Dorset.

 

1939- 73 Baniton Road, Oxford- no occupation nor has her sister with whom she lives along with 2 civil servants.

 

3rd December 1962 died at Fairfield, 115, Banbury Road, Oxford. Spinster aged 85.
