Samuel Richards was born in 1894 at Ruabon, Denbighshire to Samuel Richards and Elizabeth nee Ellis
1901 – 4 Paddock Row, Ruabon. Youngest of 3. Father a coal miner hewer.
1911 – underground labourer aged 17. Stepmother of 3 years – Susan. 4 Paddock Row, Ruabon.
WW1 employed at Gretna
22nd December 1919- married Kate Clutton at Ruabon. Samuel a collier.
1921- Samuel, Winifred and Winfred Margaret are on this record. Samuel and ex Gretna worker. Winfred his second wife although no clear evidence.
January 1935 – died aged 42
