By 1921 census, Thomas was working for Refuge Assurance Co Ltd, as an Insurance Agent, at the same address.
However, Thomas and his family moved to 32 Melbourne Avenue, Eastriggs, where wife Jeannie died 12th June 1945, and Thomas died there on 18th October 1956.
