Trivia / any other information:  Winifreds husband, Kenneth, died in India on 10/06/1905 aged 29, leaving her with a daughter, Helen. He was the Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bombay. (3)

In 1912, Winifred was living at 4, Park Mansions, Henry Street, St. Johns Wood, and was listed as on the Midwives Roll after taking the Central Midwives Board  examination. (9)

Winifred was also a suffragette. She gave a fictitious name of Mrs. Mary Reynolds when arrested for “Breaking treasury window”. The damage was five shillings and she was sentenced to seven days and fined ten shillings. (2)

In 1939 she was living with her daughter at 108 Ebury Street, Belgravia, London, and was a L.C.C. Ambulance driver (1)

Winifred was living at 27 Platts Lane when she died in 1949. (5)
