10am to 4.30pm
Activities are included in usual entry price into The Devil’s Porridge Museum.
What to expect from Wartime Weekend 2026?
Discover stories of the Second World War in the local area with living history displays, artefact handling, and crafts. Meet soldiers and discover their equipment, get ready for an air raid with the ARP warden, play some 1940s games, explore our wartime kitchen and see if you could live on the ration, make your own gas mask and help us build a model of RAF Annan.

Remember all of this is included in your usual admission price into The Devil’s Porridge Museum. (If you gift aid your admission into The Devil’s Porridge Museum we offer you free entry back into our museum for a whole year too!)
Below are some photos from one of our previous World War Two themed events at The Devil’s Porridge Museum. This time we are hoping to have a few different activities, so it may vary from the photos.
