28th April 1879- admitted to Lucas Street School.  

 

1881 – 19, Victory Street, Deptford. Father a carpenter. Albert is the 2nd of 3 children.  

 

30th April 1883- admitted to Randall Pace School.  

 

1901 – 2 Peyton Place, Greenwich, London.Mother remarried a man 20 years her senior. Albert now described as a stepson. He is a fancy leather dresser. 

 

1911- 2 Peyton Place, Greenwich. Now head of house living with widowed mother in 4 rooms. A Fancy leather worker.  

 

WW1- just too old for active military service, employed as a munition worker at H M Factory, Gretna, living at Newfoundland House, Eastriggs.  (Electoral register)  

 

1921- Arthur Henry, Albert Edwin, Alice Mary and 5 others are on the record at Bermondsey, London  

 

1939- 11 Cherry Garden Street, Bermondsey. A fancy leather worker. 3 brothers are living together.  

 

15th September 1955, died at Bermondsey aged 79 of 19 Russell Scott Buildings, Rotherhithe, died at St Olave’s Hospital, Rotherhithe
