On the 11/12/1927 he arrived in Liverpool with his wife Louisa, after sailing from Singapore on the ship “Lycam”. (9) 

 

Awards/recognitions: Mentioned in the Dumfries & Galloway Standard , Saturday 9th December, as one of the people to be invested in the Masonic Lodge, Gretna, as Junior Warden.(10) 

 He was also a member of the Corinthian Lodge in Dover, joining in 1907. (7)
