John Thomas Harrison was born on 6th January 1863 at Patterdale, Ullswater, Westmorland to William and Hannah nee Kilgour.
1871- living at Eagle House, Patterdale-above-How, Westmorland. Father a farmer and labourer of 13 acres. John is the 2nd child of 3 listed
1881- agricultural servant at Patterdale Hall Farm
Q2 1884 – married Annie Brown at Penrith.
1891- 5 ,Sealt? Yard, Penrith, a coachman domestic, married with 3 children.
1901- Duke Street, Penrith a coachman groom with 4 sons and 1 daughter
1911-26 Duke Street, Penrith. 6 rooms. A “mail contractor ( horse), General Post Office” He has had 8 children with 6 surviving
WW1- employed as a motor driver at Gretna
Penrith Observer – Tuesday 28 January 1919:-
“ SUDDEN DEATH AT PENRITH Annie Harrison, wife of Mr. John Thomas Harrison, motor driver at Gretna, who resides at 13. Arthur Street, Penrith, died very suddenly on Friday.
1939–motor driver retired living 29, Sandgate ,Penrith with son and family
21st 1946 died at Penrith Cottage Hospital aged 83 of 9 Watson Terrace, Penrith
