1881 – living at 7th Avenue,Wortley in Bramley, Leeds. Father a blacksmith. Eldest of 3 boys
1891 -34, Second Avenue, Wortley, Mechanical engineer’s apprentice
8th February 1896 married Frances Hester Fisher. Jospeh of 2nd Avenue, New Wortley, Leeds. A Fitter
1901 iron pattern filer , married with 2 sons and 1 daughter living at 26 Carrington St, Armley, Leeds
