Skelton Huntington was born in September 1872 in Carlisle, Cumberland to Anthony and Maryann nee Purdom. He was baptised on 29th September 1872.
1881- 5th of 6 children. Father a cab proprietor living at 11 Barwise Court, Carlisle
1891- 8 Barwise Street, Carlisle. An 18 year old grocer. Father a carriage proprietor, livery.
2nd April 1896- married Mary Eleanor Park at Longtown. Mary died in 1912.
1901- living at Dryfesdale, Dumfries. A domestic coachman.
WW1 – listed on valuation roll as living at 12 F East, Gretna, a cleaner.
30th December 1930 died. Buried alongside his wife and subsequently their 2 children in Rigg cemetery.
