The Annandale Observer is not currently digitised, however a volunteer on this project is manually searching the physical copies of this paper held at The Devil’s Porridge Museum. Harrower was mentioned in the AO on 15/02/1918 at p. 4 and column 5. He was described as an Assistant Clerk of Works living at Gaitlebridge and the details of the entry were ‘Sudden death at Gretna.’
