1881 both parents were in Scotland. Father a locomotive fireman. Mother living in Barony, Glasgow.
1891-living at Glasgow Barony, father railway engine driver.
1901- 106, Eastfield St, Maryhill, Glasgow. Father an “engine driver rail.”
1911 -16 Grosvenor Gardens, Carlisle. Father a railway engine driver . 8 children born. 6 living. 3 youngest born in Glasgow. Alison eldest. G/G/G/G/B/G. Living in 5 rooms.
