Annie Armstrong

Annie Armstrong was a Dornock-born-and-bred Gretna Girl. Family history has both Annie and her sister Jeanie “working with cordite” at HM Gretna. Annie married Charles Graham, who was a constable in the factory police force, in 1918 in Dornock. After the war, Charles and Annie lived in Eastrigg. At the time of her death in November 1968, age 79, she was a widow living at Brisbane Road. Annie is buried in Dornock Cemetery.
