Edward Horner 1874-1957

Edward Horner was born in Carlisle on 18th July 1874 to John and Jane nee Skelton. His parents married at Gretna Green in August 1851. John was an iron moulder.

1881 – living at 43 East Street, Carlisle. Mother is a charwoman. Father is not listed but mother is listed as married. Edward is the 7th of 8 children.

1891- living at 12 Princess Street, Botchergate, Carlisle. Edward a railway wagon greaser. Mother now widowed and a charwoman.

1901- no evident record

1902 married  Mary Elizabeth nee Kindleysides at Carlisle.
