1911 -Grecian Cottage , Cockermouth. 6 rooms. Father a house painter employer. Youngest of 2 children
WW1 – employed at Gretna
23rd June 1923- emigrated –to Boston, US future husband and father also onboard SS Samaria
22nd August 1928 – married Charles Powell Leadbetter at Detroit, Michigan. Charles a decorator. Subsequently had 3 children.
7th June 1932 arrived in Liverpool – onward address Brigham Road, Cockermouth. Described as a clerk.
