One of their children Thomas was born in Gretna, where Mary Jane and husband Alfred were living at 6 B West, the same address given from the 1918-19 electoral roll. Alfred’s occupation was a Ploughman.
The couple moved back to Carlisle, where they died in the 1950’s.
