Thomas Warwick Haygarth 1894-1938

Thomas Warwick Haygarth was born in Silloth, Cumberland in January1894 to Robert James Haygarth and Hannah Marie nee Messenger .

1901- Living at 98, Oswald Street, Botchergate, Carlisle. Father a railway engine driver. Thomas the middle of 3 children ( boy/boy/girl). All children survived.

1911- Thomas living in family home at 10 Harraby Green Rd, Carlisle in 5 rooms -an apprentice engine fitter.

October 1917- married Margaret McKie in Carlisle.

20th May 1918 – Elsie their only child was born.

Armed service- Royal Navy  20/5/1918-17/2/1919. ( service record)

H.M. Factory Gretna- 1916-1918? Possibly as an engineer and travelling from home in Carlisle.

1921 –  Thomas, Margaret and Elsie are on the record living in Carlisle. Thomas is an ex or retired Gretna worker.

January 1938- died in Carlisle

1939- Margaret working as a Ministry of Agriculture office cleaner, daughter Elsie also at home at 14 Westmorland St, Carlisle. A fishing tackle maker. Elsie married and became Mrs Little.
