Time for Monthly Roundup 17th February to 16th March 2025. This time we’re showcasing what happened in our mid-term holiday programme.

Wednesday 19th February

Today was our first mid-term workshop, Crafting Adventures for Toddlers. It was lovely to see so many people drop in and join us for this. Thanks to those who joined us and another big thank you to all those who helped to make this possible.

Thursday 20th February

This Thursday was a very busy day.

We were delighted to welcome a group to The Devil’s Porridge Museum in the morning. It was fantastic to have them.

From 11am to 1pm we had a drop in Sewing Hope: Quilts for Climate Change Workshop. Find out more about Sewing Hope by clicking here>

Friday 21st February

Our last drop-in Mid-Term Activity was a creative Craft workshop.

Monday 24th February

Our Cordite Club were back inside The Devil’s Porridge Museum again today. This week they played two sorts of Bingo;  card and normal Bingo!

Saturday 1st February

We were delighted to have a Brownies unit join us for a visit at The Devil’s Porridge Museum today. A huge thank you to them for paying us a visit!

Monday 3rd March

Today we were delighted to welcome local school and nursey children to Sewing Hope workshop! We’re very proud to have been involved in this project and you can learn more about Sewing Hope by clicking here>

Lovely to have our Arts and Crafts club in The Devil’s Porridge Museum again this afternoon.

Wednesday 5th March

We were delighted to have another Sewing Hope workshop with local children again today.

Thursday 6th March

Today local children were making a quilt to share hope for the future in our Sewing Hope workshop. We are very proud to be able to involved in this activity! Monday 10th March

This week our Cordite Club enjoyed jacket potato with cheese and baked beans. They also took part in our Sewing Hope workshop to share a message of hope for future generations! Below are some photos of this.

Later, our Arts and Crafts Club were having a go at cross-stich!

Wednesday 12th March

It was fantastic to have a school visit to The Devil’s Porridge Museum today.

Thursday 13th March

We had another Sewing Hope workshop with local school children today.

Friday 14th March

Another Sewing Hope workshop took place today. All the fabric squares the young people are making will be sewn into one large quilt.

We’ve come to the end of this Monthly Roundup. Our next Roundup will be released in April.
