Our ‘devil’s porridge’ may be too explosive for breakfast (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle described the dangerous materials he saw World War One munitions workers mixing in large pans to make cordite as ‘devil’s porridge’), but you’ll find some interesting places on this map were you can find a
perfectly non-explosive, bowl of porridge oats to tuck into too.
