What will be Happening at This Talk?

111th years on…

Join us on the anniversary of Quintinshill Rail accident for an illustrated talk exploring Britain’s worst railway disaster, which happened not too far from The Devil’s Porridge Museum. This presentation will be by Grant Cullen, a historian of railways and the Great War, who will reveal how the disaster unfolded and some of the personal stories of those involved.

The Quintinshill Tragedy Talk is free, but donations to support the work of the museum would be gratefully received.

No need to book, you’re welcome to just drop-in and join us!

Please be aware you will not be able to look around The Devil’s Porridge Museum during this talk, as it is outside the museum’s usual opening hours.
